Group Projects-A Perspective

I hate group projects. That said, I know that it is unrealistic of me to think that I can go through life working alone. Yesterday, two professors assigned group projects. They always try to pair groups up evenly according to capabilities but it always seems like one person does all the work. Surprisingly, I was wrong yesterday.

Mad Typing Skilz

While others in high school learned how to type correctly, I never did. I somehow learned how to type on my own. It is not necessarily the right fingers on the right keys, but it gets me through the day since I spend a huge majority of my work life on the computer keyboard.

A Food Diary!

So I was reading an article about how these days people are keeping a food diary, of every meal they eat or whatever they eat, even a snack bar. This will supposedly show people the true meaning of the quote, "You are what you eat." The way this food diary works is that you take pictures of what you eat, even a piece of gum, then write down the time and date you ate it. Then at the end of the day you go back and look at all of the foods you ate.

Oh Spring...

Just like typical Baltimore, we jumped from Winter to Summer in no time flat. So, now I find myself craving snowballs! I live in the city, about 3 blocks from the county line, near Arbutus. In Arbutus there is this awesome snowball shack called Eskimo Shack. In the summer time the owners are my best friends!!

die pollen... die...

I cannot not reiterate enough how much I dislike spring because of all the pollen and my allergies! Being 7 months pregnant I have to go to the bathroom quite a bit... but now with sneezing every two seconds from my allergies I have to go more often than that! and it's so not comfortable :( now I don't mind the temperature, I enjoy the cool, yet warmish, air... but I could really do without all the pollen... I spend more time in the bathroom than I do working on any school work LOL... any who... for those that do not have allergies... it's not fair and you're lucky :p LOL enjoy the weather everyone!

The Greatest Show on Earth

The famed Ringling Bros and Barnun & Bailey Circus is in town beginning tonight through April 18th. As a child, I found the circus magical: trapeze artists flipping and flying though the air, a line of elephants "dancing" around the ring and fierce tigers jumping through flaming hoops on demand. As an adult, however, knowing how unnatural all this is for traditionally wild animals makes the circus concept more troubling.

Law School Registration

Hey all, not much of a post from me this week. Law School has been super busy recently.

All the 1Ls had a 20 plus page paper due tonight at midnight. Drift on over to our building, and I bet you see a lot of zombies. So, this post will be fun.

But I thought I would share a little about the registration process here at the Law School, and I am very interested to see what it is like across the rest of the disciplines.
