summer go bye bye

So... this is the first time I have ever... and I mean... EVER... taken a summer course... and although we are only one class in, just the thought of losing part of my normal summer is depressing lol... I'm used to getting off work and just coming home (or going out) and being able to relax, not coming home and having to do homework/assignments on top of other to-do list... so I figure I might as well say goodbye to my summer now... most of it anyway... le sigh... :(

Hi, Rose...I have to admit, I've always been chicken about taking summer classes. The same amount of work in half the time!? Anyway, I'm sure you'll do fine. Remember...you'll always have August.

I feel your pain, Rose. I am taking 2 summer courses and I thought they would be a breeze...that I could spend afternoons lounging by the pool drinking marjaritas. Not so much....looks like my early summer days are full of writing assignments instead!

Hats off to you for giving up part of your summer. Hope it's some consolation that sacrifice now usually means better things down the road. Whether that's an easier fall/spring semester, a shorter wait for your degree, or something completely unexpectedly fantastic, who knows. In the end, it's probably worth it to give up those easy, relaxing summer evenings. It'll make the last part of summer that much sweeter. Enjoy!

Thanks guys for the encouraging words! To graduate next spring I kinda had to (or else I would have been taking 9 credit in the fall lol)... I hope it wont be too difficult to manage work and school, and a possible life on the side LOL... greater things ahead! yay! :o)
