I took out the tree and ornaments last week. I set up the tree but don't remember how to light it. Haven't put the ornaments on. The wreath was hanged up this past summer. I went all out last two years. The roommates never help.
It's different this year. These roommates don't really pay attention to what's going on nor are they that helpful or welcome to the ideas. So why bother? I don't and I'll do my own thing. It's like a contest in the neighborhood, who will have the best lights and decor? I'll be watching for them, taking a stroll, and driving in the neighbhorhood just to look at them.
Of course we are students and most of us don't care if we have to decorate. It would be a materialistic thing to even try to go all out unless you and your neighbors had some sort of agreement to compete. Haha!!

decorations? What are those !!! maybe i should be inspired since I have a more verbal two year old but I'm not :( Maybe it's cause my dad and sister are no longer here, my niece and nephew are 95% of the time ungrateful so why bother. But I think for the sake of my child who looks at TV and tells me it's a christmas tree I'll ask the hubby to take it out and put it up.
