Finals

Hello all!

I hope this post finds you well! Those of us in law school are deep in the midst of finals right now. This post is going to be brief. Law school provides the added difficulty of studying for something that is, on its face, very simple. For example, take contracts. I look at the course outline, and I see Offer, Acceptance, and Consideration as three of the 18 topics.

Oh, offer, I know that! I think to myself.

Acceptance, that is easy too!

Great! But then you start to really look at it, go back to your class notes, and see that under offer you have Restatements 54, 55(1), 56, and 64. Now I am thinking, uh oh, I don't even remember what those are. So I look them up. And each is several lines of legal mumbo jumbp.

In five minutes I have gone from feeling on top of the world to rock bottom. And that is studying for law school exams.

Spencer,

I give you a lot of credit for surviving law school so far. Law school is a huge accomplishment for someone. You should be very proud of yourself! I wish you the best of luck.

wow...you can have law school all to yourself. I'm taking one Administrative law class and could barely get through my paper that's due today. You go.
