Hey Everyone, I hope you had as great a weekend as I did... I celebrated my 24th Birthday and it was definitely fun times. I was disappointed at the fact that I had spent 2 weeks monitoring the weather with the hopes of having a BBQ on Saturday, only for the weather channel to say it will Thunderstorm that day as of Noon that day still. Well I ended up cancelling my BBQ and the weather ended up being perfect throughout with no sign of rain. The weather's been pretty intense with the rain storms around the country and it only leaves me wondering when the summer will really start.
So... every year the summer comes and goes. We find those jobs or take summer classes so we're either making some extra change or advancing towards the completion of our degree. If all being well what would your perfect summer be like and what would you spend it doing?

My favorite summers were when my boys were little and we would spend a week camping at Swallow Falls in Western Maryland (right outside of Deep Creek Lake). There were times we never looked at a watch, listened to anything other than the sounds of the nature, and spent the days swimming, hiking, and catching bugs. There is nothing like the lazy days of summer when you're a kid.
