The Difference One Day Can Make...
is all the difference in the world. Yesterday was my difference. When I walked outside and saw how beautiful it was in a season that most people dread, I truly became thankful. Not just thankful for the warmth outside and the healthy, happy children having the time of their lives at the playground, but thankful for the friends I have, who I so often criticize for their shortcomings as if I don't have a whole slew of my own. I was thankful for being able to find peace in my everyday unnerving situations, when others can't find the strength to go on. I'm thankful for smart, savvy people who can make a dolla holla (as my mother always says) and aren't too proud to let you know that. I'm thankful for having the sense to know when something isn't going to work for me, and as I've heard others say before "bow out gracefully". I'm thankful for common sense and a spirit that won't allow me to be trampled on by others. I'm thankful for the sweet people in my life who make the bad ones not matter so much. Yes, yesterday was definitely my difference. And the difference one day can make is grand.

Araina,
my husband lost three of his friends yesterday so I was very thankful all day long. I was thankful that I still have my brothers and sisters, thankful that I still have my husband, and for my friends!
That is so sad! My heart goes out to him! I would be completely done if ANY of my friends died. We have to be thankful because these good people can definitely be gone before we know it.
