Happy November!

I'm super excited that it's now November for several reasons: 1) of course, like most people, I love my birth month 2) all the cool, non-scary, or Halloween related activities happen this month, 3) hopefully November's weekends will provide a little more chill and a lot less rain, and 4) we are one month closer to ending out the year! I seems as though every weekend in October was filled with rain, rain, and more rain! How annoying?! I know with the month of November also comes colder temperatures, but I'm kinda ready to jump into this scarf-wearing season! I know when it's stupidly cold outside and I have to heat up my car before I drive it I'll be eating those words, but for now I'm looking forward to winter. I may be the only person on the planet who rushes months by, but I can't wait to get this year over with! It hasn't been exceptionally bad, nor has it been great, it's been more mediocre than anything. I just welcome new beginnings, and what's more fitting as a new beginning than a new year? Oh the possibilities! Also this month, I'm looking for to the Asian Film Festival at UB and also a piano selection by a gentleman whose name escapes me right now... ha! Anyways, November feels very promising and I welcome it with open arms.

Araina,

I agree. To be honest I really am not a big fan of October. I really do not like the whole dressing up thing and trick or treaters knocking at my door. Yay for November!

Yeah LJ, Saturday I remembered why I haven't given out candy since I moved to my new house three years ago. Bad kids storming your door and rude kids telling my step-son he didn't like tootsie rolls. I told him shut the door then and he can get something from next door. or the little girl that had the nerve to put her hand in my bowl and grab a handful for herself. Half of them not saying thank you. I hate rude kids!!!

I dread November because it reminds me Christmas is the next month. Also reminds me about how every year I say I will be done shopping by July when in actuality November hits and I haven't started !!! Also reminds me I have to start warming car longer (I got a 93 pontiac and it needs tender loving care !!) before me and son go out and now I have to bundle him up more. Ever seen a two foot, two-year old waddling in a bulky coat !!! I can do without cold weather ladies !!!!
