I started working out again yesterday. I am sore today. I was on the machines doing 10 reps each exercise and 50 or so ab crunches (one of those celeb crunches). I felt great! Got a lot of school work done afterwards.
Missed the writing exam today, kept hitting the snooze bar, haha!! Eh, it can wait this week. I'm taking 10 wk classes for my program and they end this weekend. I'm also playing catch-up so it's challenging, maybe better with the 15 wk courses but I'll get bored with them.
I wanted to do more cooking at home and show a picture or two of some easy recipes, I'll try that next week. Tabitha mentioned keeping peanut butter on hand. That helps if you want to make a sause out of it. Also dijon mustard, soy sauce, bbq sauce, ketchup, salt, pepper, butter, olive oil, jam can help with marinating in a sammich bag. I developed a cooking skill while being an undergraduate along the years in school. Simply watching Rachel Ray in the kitchen, Julia Childs, Sara Lee, and other chefs taught me a lesson but turned me an instant chef in the kitchen. Just one more thing, get a skillet or frying pan or a saucepan with the spatula for turning.
Finals week is here...I am back into a routine studying in the afternoon till evening. I'm light because I have only two classes. One presentation, two written exams, and an 8-10 page paper to write all due this weekend. I'm doing each classes each day, can't lose focus right now but I just might!
All that reading we did in the last months, are some of worth it? Do you ever question why? We don't have to read every word.
p.s. The roommate last week said Hi to me. What a surprise! I introduced myself too. I never know what happens now, just a caution. "Tread carefully!"

Lainey,
I am not the cooker in my family but if I really took my time and put a lot of work into it I can cook a great meal. I also learned that salt, pepper, and olive oil are really the only three ingredients that you need to make a good tatsting meal. Whats the deal with the roommate? you have a roommate that you do not talk to?
LOL LJ!!! You are right with the key ingredients you can make wonderful meals. I vary it too with different kinds of meat and veggies. Great for seasoning too!
I have this roommate who is inconsiderate when it comes to cleaning. If there was something wrong and she would hold it in for a long time, she wouldn't even talk to me about it. The other roommate down the hall is older than all of us and she is cool, respectful, and nice. I could ignore the other one for a while, not sure how long she wants to! Lol!
LJ...a little cooking sherry and white wine vinegar are good too !!!
Lainey...the roommate (or other roommates of yours) don't know about this blog do they !!!!
