be safe and dont eat too much candy

I just wanted to tell everyone to have a safe and happy Halloween this weekend. During this time of year it can be dangerous but then fun at the same time. Depending on where you live in Baltimore you probably wont even be handing out candy. I know I wont this year! Its not like my neighborhood is really bad but lets just say its bad enough that I would rather not risk any kind of robbery or violence from the hoodlums that wander the streets at night. I will never understand why anyone can be so vicious but what can you do - nothing. When I was about 12 years old me and two other girlfriends were trick or treating and were jumped for our candy as we were walking down a steep hill. The hoodlum got my friends candy but not mine! Me and the guy actually were literally playing tug a war back and forth for a minute until he gave up and ran. The really funny part about my bravery that night is that I had a pair of underwear in my candy bag that I forgot to take out, lol. The whole time I was so worried about feeling embarrassed about my underwear and not having any to wear the next day. Honestly I think I was stronger than him too. Who knows maybe because of that night is why I have never been a big fan of Halloween. Just be safe, don't drink and drive, and most importantly do not eat too much candy! :)
