Had a cold last month...this month another one. Thank goodness it has none of the flu-like symptoms. The USG-Rockville campus looks clean and plenty of sanitizers everywhere. Anytime I'm at a computer I somehow pick up a virus or touch a doorknob. I never know when it's going to happen again.
Always wash your hand frequently whenever you touch anything, any object, any thing somebody else touched.
I ate again. I baked brownies last week and ate the whole thing in two days. Last night I ate out and had dessert after. It's going to take several tries however I did get a brisk walk in at a park.
Yes it's hard and it's challenging. I appreciate the support!! It's hard to lose the last five or ten pounds. I noticed at the doc's office that I gained 15 pounds this year. Uh oh! I guess scales don't lie? haha!
p.s. Toastmaster International is a club helping others overcome public speaking and group anxiety. Google it and check it out.

good advice! everyone needs to be sure that they are washing their hands all the time. Germs are spreading fast especially in the school systems. Cover your mouth when you cough too!
Even my baby has been taught proper coughing. I had to laugh when he coughed in his shirt !! His sitter was strict on hand sanitizer way before this germ outbreak that's going on. I think she making him OCD for real !! I guess I am too cause I bought a half-gallon of hand sanitizer from Sam's club to keep on my desk even though they have some at every elevator. what bothers me the most is people that lick each piece of paper when they're looking for something or giving you something. I don't know you or what's been in your mouth...yuck !!!!
here's another tip. A girl in a bathroom looked shocked when she saw me do this. after washing your hands, use the paper towel to turn off the water and open the door. think about it you washed your hands but what about the nasty person that walked out the bathroom without washing theirs...hmmmmm !!!! and just put the paper towel in the trash can in the hall if it's not near the door.
Great tips!! I'd be embarrassed to walk around with a mask but that helps too. If you're near a person with a cold, I'd say, sorry I'm going to talk to you this far (6 ft). Now my boyfriend got a head cold. Dunno if it was me or his mother. I wouldn't care if someone sees you using a paper towel to turn off the sink, I don't see many do this or know in nursing classes it's what is taught. People seem to look at everything (if they see out of ordinary) and make annoying looks. Charlene, the girl sounded like a snob.
